New 'For Dummies' guide makes their choices easier (ARA) - Americans have been hearing more about health care and health insurance these days than ever. But, when it comes to understanding their own health benefits, many may be missing opportunities to take advantage of their options and even save money throughout the year. This is especially true at open enrollment - typically the only chance for millions of Americans who receive benefits through an employer to make changes to their health benefits plans for the coming year.
A recent survey from Plan for Your Health, the health benefits public education program from Aetna and the Financial Planning Association, found that less than 20 percent of insured adults surveyed consider themselves very knowledgeable about their health benefits plan. With the majority more concerned about their finances now compared to five years ago, and millions of Americans faced with making annual health benefits decisions during open enrollment, this is alarming.

(ARA) - You don't have to be an energy expert to realize the challenge ahead if the country is to reach President Obama's goal of reducing 50 percent of America's fossil fuel emissions by 2050. To do that will require several innovative approaches to generating fuel and electricity.
One alternative is to use plant or tree materials, also known as biomass, as an energy source. Biomass trees could be specifically planted for use as bioenergy in regions where available land is well-suited to tree growth and harvest. Although many different types of crops can be used as biomass, trees have particular advantages, including the ability to be harvested year-round. In the Southeast, where the infrastructure to harvest and transport trees to the mill already exists, biomass production could help reinvigorate rural economies.

Have you ever wondered how artists transport - and perhaps more importantly - store their art? After all, the majority of art collections are comprised of "one-of-a-kind" pieces, which means, if one piece breaks or is inadvertently damaged (in transit or storage), on the opening day of the show, there is no "understudy" to take its place.

(ARA) - "Mom was my rock, and I couldn't imagine life without her. I had a hard time letting go." A single tear glistens in Angela Carlson's eye as she recalls the pain of losing her mother, Mary, to breast cancer last year.
"Although I'd heard of cremation jewelry, I didn't know much about it until my friend, Dawn, suggested it to me," Angela recalls. "I found the idea strange at first, until Dawn pointed out the necklace she was wearing. When she told me the delicate silver cross held a bit of her father's ashes, I was amazed. I never imagined cremation jewelry would be so beautiful - and so discreet."
